While some countries such as Tanzanian, Zambia, Uganda and Kenya are tightening security in their borders to check movement of people following Ebola disease outbreak which has killed over 220 people in the DRC and seven in Uganda, this must be a wake up call for Malawi to check on its porous borders.

Malawi is a transit country for the people.of other countries to.pass through in order to be connected to South Africa, Australia and other parts of the world.Kalindo warns government to fix judicial system

Beside the porous borders the country has, road blocks on.the roads of Malawi have gone to sleep, illegal immigrants, human traffickers, chamba business people have found this as a free way entry into Malawi.

Speaking through an audio clip, political activist Bon Kalindo, has expressed his deep concern over the removal of road blocks on the roads of Malawi saying this has given human traffickers a license to.continue trading in.thst business.

Kalindo has thanked police in Salima for intercepting Ethiopian nationals at Kanyenyeva in the district saying if the country had road blocks ,all these Ethiopians could not have been arrested by police in Salima.Kalindo laments over huge money going to politicians

He has appealed to Government to hold an emergency meeting on how the country can contain this deadly disease Ebola which is threatening to take many lives in African countries including Malawi.

The Activist has warned government that if it fails to bring back road blocks only relying on police adhoc road blocks, government will one day regret to see many of its citizens dying of Ebola disease

In the audio clip, Kalindo has appealed to.the Government of Malawi to rescue Malawians that are trapped with Xenophobic violence in South Africa.

Kalindo has advised government that many of these people in South Africa wants to come back home in Malawi but they don’t have documentations and as such they are sleeping in mosques, churches and bushes without food and water.

The Activist said this is the best time for Malawi Government officials to meet their fellow colleagues in South Africa to allow those without documentations that are Malawians to travel back home than dying in a foreign country.
