Nsanje police have arrested six suspects including a primary school teacher, Godknows Alufazema, over alleged Burglary and Theft of items worth millions which have since been recovered in the district.

The district’s police Spokesperson, Sub-Inspector, Agnes Zalakoma, says they arrested the suspects and recovered the items in question on Sunday night around Nsanje trading centre.

According to Sub-Inspector Zalakoma, they worked on a tip-off from well-wishers and managed to arrest the six suspects and recovered three plasma Television sets, two motorcycles, one bicycle, two home theaters, one mattress, five laptop bags and one decoder.

Police investigations are still underway to arrest their accomplices according to the district’s police spokesperson adding that the suspects will appear in the court soon to answer Burglary and Theft charges leveled against them.
