Rumphi-based Kajiso Entertainment Centre says all is set for Summer Reggae Explosion show where country’s renowned reggae outfit, The Black Missionaries Band is expected to perform this Sunday, August 25, 224 [from 08:00 PM till dawn] at the entertainment centre in northern district of Rumphi.
Speaking in an interview, managing director for Kajiso Entertainment Centre, Thumbiko Kajiso, said the show was organised to among other things quench thirsty for entertainment among Rumphi residents and the surrounding areas.
“It’s our tradition of holdihng shows at least as a way of entertaining Rumphi residents and sorrounding areas because they lack these kind of entertainments. Most of these people usually watch various artists including Ma Blacks through videos. So, bringing the artists live here, it is such a good thing to them; hence coming up with this show,” said Kajiso.
He added: “Our preparations for the show have gone very well and are at an advanced stage. Everything is order. There will be a very tight security to ensure that everyone is assured of their safety and that of their belongs they will bring at the show like phones. We have hired professional security personnel which will take care of the situation. On the other hand, the bars will be filled with assorted drinks an foods to satisfy everyone’s wish. I, therefore, call upon people to come and get entertained during the show.”
Kajiso further, said people who will patronise the summer reggae explosion should expect to be fully entertained saying both the Evison Matafale founded band and the entire team of artists were ready to ditch out the very best during the show.
“They are geared to give their best performance since it’s their the first time this year to perform here at Kajiso Entertainment Centre in particular and Rumphi district at large. The show is happening and once again, we urge all fun lovers never to miss this show,” he said.
Anthony ‘Mr. Cool’ Makondetsa, Yanjanani Chumbu, Khozie Masimbe and Moda Fumulani are expected to perform at the summer reggae explosion show.
