Malawi Congress Party (MCP) spokesperson Jessie Kabwila has challenged the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to put its house in order, accusing its leaders of wasting time on political fights while Malawians suffer.
Kabwila criticised the public dispute between Speaker of Parliament Sameer Suleman and government spokesperson Shadric Namalomba over Parliament’s powers to investigate corruption.
She argued that instead of trading accusations, the country’s leaders should focus on pressing challenges, including fuel shortages and the rising hardships facing citizens.
Kabwila said the political wrangling had come at the wrong time, stressing that Malawians need solutions to their problems, not endless political arguments.
