Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KuHes) Associate Professor of Microbiology, Rajhab Mkakosya, is celebrating a remarkable win after emerging as the lucky winner of a K1 million Trolley Dash in NBS Bank’s “Eazy-Mber 2 Remember” Promotion.

Prof. Mkakosya earned the exciting opportunity by spending over K50,000 and paying bills using the NBS EazySwipe Point of Sale (POS) machine at Sana Cash and Carry Ginnery Corner in Blantyre. The win allowed him to pick groceries worth up to K1 million in just 60 seconds. However, he managed to grab items worth K253,000.

“I am very excited because I didn’t expect to get this lucky today. These groceries will help me cut my budget for this month,” Mkakosya said, expressing his joy after the dash.

Speaking during the event, NBS Bank Marketing and Communication Officer Sharon Jumbe encouraged Malawians to take advantage of the bank’s POS machines during this festive season. “We are encouraging our customers to use NBS EazySwipe POS machines at various shops to stand a chance of being the next winners,” she said.

The “Eazy-Mber 2 Remember” Promotion aims to reward loyal customers while promoting the use of cashless payment options. The Trolley Dash adds a fun and engaging twist, giving customers an opportunity to win big while managing their holiday expenses.

With more opportunities for customers to win exciting prizes, NBS Bank is making the festive season brighter for its patrons.
