Question to the Head of State, President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera:

Mr. President, on the day you launched your campaign at Bingu National Stadium, you publicly stated that your government would provide K500,000 for every newborn child.

However, nowadays we are hearing that the amount has changed and you’re now saying each child will receive K50,000.

Mr. President, where has the remaining K450,000 gone?
Was the initial promise just made up, or have you changed your mind without explaining to Malawians?

We need clear answers. It is important that the government is honest and transparent with the people.
