Political activist Bon Kalindo, has thanked Odyazake Alibe Mulandu President who is also the country’s Vice President Dr. Michael Usi for coming back to his senses joining the suffering Malawians that there is no future in the MCP.
Kalindo said Malawians have proved for themselves that beside Dr. Usi being a television drama actor, there is special wisdom in him that has taken him to be Dr. Michael Usi one used to know from before that he is serious when doing things.
He said had it been that Dr. Usi started speaking justice from before that there is nothing to write about in the MCP, millions of Malawians could have been following him just the same as Malawians are following and rallying behind opposition party leaders in the country.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said he is praying that Dr. Kabambe, Dr. Usi, Professor Mutharika, Enoch Kamzingeni Chihana, and others could sit down together in one meeting to discuss ways of liberating the country from the MCP.
Kalindo said Malawians are praying for a grand opposition party alliance to oust the MCP and President Chakwera from power on the 16th September, 2025 elections expressing optimistic that other opposition leaders would come to join this alliance just the same as what Bishop Dr. David Mbewe has done.
He has observed that in his campaign trail, President Chakwera is promising Malawians that he will do this and that after being elected back into government describing this as a blue lie coming from the mouth of the President campaigning for votes.
He has claimed that if President Chakwera has the welfare of people at heart he would have directed that prices of essential goods including maize which is the staple food to go down because he is already in government.
The activist has claimed that President Chakwera is a confused person that today he says this and tomorrow that saying he will give K1 million to each of the youth to boost businesses wondering how he has calculated the number of youth in Malawi to match with the money he is promising.
He said it is very strange that President Chakwera is campaigning for votes from the very same people that have not benefited from his leadership style claiming that there is nothing to write about on Chakwera’s HI-5 agenda.
“Maize has reached K65,000, fertilizer K185,000, cement K45,000 if Malawians make the second misstate of voting for him, where will the country and its people be from 2025 to 2030 under the leadership of Chakwera? Questioned Kalindo.
He has asked President Chakwera to tell Malawians what renewed trust can Malawians have in him to run the country for the second mandate after failing to fulfill the 2020 promises to the very same people he is campaigning for votes today?
Kalindo has assured Malawians that once President Chakwera and the MCP bounces back into government, there will be no Malawi, many people will die hence his plea to opposition party leaders to come together to liberate the country from jaws of the MCP dictatorship.
