Jumbe says Malawians shall never forgive MCP

By Vincent Gunde

A voice of the voiceless citizen of Malawi Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, says the spirit of Dr. Saulosi Klaus Chilima and eight brave souls who perished with him has risen louder from the grave to defeat the MCP saying he and Malawians shall never forgive MCP.

Comrade Jumbe says the grave of Dr. Chilima has become a pulpit and he has spoken more powerfully than a thousand campaign rallies louder than the drums of politics saying Malawians have spoken through the ballot, the people’s voice is the law.

He says the people have risen for the blood of Dr. Chilima and eight others that stains their footsteps marched with them from the land of the ancestors defeating MCP with the fire of truth, Malawians shall never forgive MCP.

Writing on his face book page, Comrade Jumbe says Malawians are not blind, they have eyes sharper than the hawk that soars, they know who holds the knife and who spills the blood of Dr. Chilima and eight others, they shall never forgive MCP.

Comrade Jumbe says today, Dr. Saulosi Chilima though resting beneath the earth, has defeated the MCP in the hearts of the people, and no manipulation of ballots or twisting of tongues can change the truth, Malawians have spoken.

“Dr. Saulosi Klaus Chilima was not just a man- he was a vision, a voice and a dream, dreams of the righteous do not rot in the grave, they sprout like seeds watered by tears, his dreams have sprouted, and it has swallowed MCP,” reads Comrade Jumbe’s writings on the wall.

Jumbe has appealed to election officials, observers, and the Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) to ensure that every polling- station tally is open to scrutiny so that doubt cannot take root warning the MCP that tampering with results will not bring peace – it will invite unrest and leading the nation to anarchy.

He has finally urged all the country’s leaders and officials to put Malawi above party, there is no any other Malawi apart from the Malawi they have and to the citizens to remain vigilant, peaceful and lawful saying Malawians will not forget and forgive MCP.
