A concerned citizen of Malawi residing at Area 51 in Lilongwe- Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda, has backed Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe’s words of advising politicians not to throw away the ladder that lifted them up because tomorrow, they may need it again.

Kaliza said the same people politicians are ignoring them today, the same people will be needed tomorrow when the next storms arrive assuring all parties in Malawi that no political party has ever survived by sidelining the very people who built its foundation.

She said when people sacrifice for one and he turn his back to them after victory, the pain does not go away case in point is the MCP, after boasting of 3 million people registered in the central region of Malawi, the 3 million people voted for Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.

The citizen said DPP has copied and pasted what the MCP was doing in government, people who never wrote or spoke even one word against injustice during the MCP regime are the ones enjoying the fruits of DPP in government.

She has joined Comrade Jumbe, Bon Kalindo and Hon. Alfred Gangata that what they are speaking against the so called professionals running government, that they were not there when they were being terrorized and hacked by MCP panga wielding thugs.

“It is hurting, those who sacrificed their lives to liberate Malawi have been forgotten while those people who did nothing during the struggle, are now seated in cabinet positions, and holding powerful offices,” said Kaliza.

Writing on his face book page Comrade Jumbe said it is extremely important to thank and recognize the patriotic citizens who truly fought against the MCP during the hardest moments saying the people endured insults, threats, and sleepless nights for a better Malawi.

Comrade Jumbe said Malawi deserves leadership that listens and delivers, but today, after victory, many of them who fought are nowhere near serving the country, not even a word of thanks describing this as not only heartbreaking but it is a betrayal.

He said these people were never even on the ground, they contributed completely nothing during the fight, but today, they are the ones closest to the president claiming that they are whispering sweet stories to the president while pushing aside those who fought honestly and openly.

“Let this be clear, we are not asking for jobs, positions in government and rewards, but we are asking for humanity and fairness,” reads Comrade Jumbe’s writings on the wall.

He has finally reminded President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and the DPP that truth to be told, without Bon Kalimdo, Lytone Mangochi, Hon. Kamlepo Kalua, journalists such as Burnett Munthali, Suleman Chitela, Jones Gadama, and others, DPP alone could not have entered into government..
