Bakili Muluzi TV online television station, has advised senior Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) members to think twice that it is not good for people to come out in the open accusing them of letting foot soldiers who fought courageously for Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika suffering as if they did not fight for the party to be in government today.
Bakili Muluzi TV said if people wants recognition from President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika they are not doing that out of greed saying if it was greed, they would have left alone Professor Mutharika for five years in the opposition.
He said there are people who fought courageously amid death threats for Professor Mutharika and today, a senior member of the DP should not come out to say that activist JB of the USA is demanding a Diplomatic post in government.
The activist has assured President Professor Mutharika that no one who fought for this government wants to be accusing the DPP but there are a few individuals that are surrounding President Mutharika who are doing everything possible for the foot soldiers to continue suffering while them, their relatives and girl- friends are enjoying the fruits of being in DPP government.
He said there are many youths who supported Professor Mutharika with all of their hearts and are being told to be waiting patiently while DPP senior members have secured jobs in government for their children, friends and girl-friends who were not supporting Mutharika at all.
Bakili Muluzi TV has advised President Professor Mutharika and senior members of the DPP that if they are seeing people like JB coming out in the open to cry before them, it is because of frustration claiming that a lot of people sacrifices for this government.
“Everyone wants good things, when Bingu died, people went to madam Dr. Joyce Banda, when Mutharika was ousted from power in June, 2020 people went to Dr. Lazarus Chakwera,” he said, they wanted good things.
The activist has said it openly that it is not good to be taking people who were insulting Professor Mutharika and the MCP to be enjoying the fruits of being in a DPP government while foot soldiers are suffering reminding the party that these foot soldiers have been loyal to Professor Mutharika for five years in the opposition.
He has reminded senior members of the DPP that Professor Mutharika was castigated and insulted left and right saying some of them were sleeping in the bush hunted like wild animals advising the DPP to stop accusing JB of crying for recognition in government.
A Malawi Congress Party (MCP) diehard of Mvera in Dowa district Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, has reminded President Professor Mutharika that truth to be told, without activists such as Bon Kalindo, Lytone Mangochi, Ntanyiwa, Bakili Muluzi TV, Bishop Kachenje, Pastor Moses Shumba, Hon. Kamlepo Kalua and journalists: Burnett Munthali, Suleman Chitera, Jones Gadama, Comrade Jumbe and others, Professor Mutharika would not have won the 16th September, 2025 elections with a landslide victory.
Kamphangala said it is sad that Professor Mutharika has not recognized these activists and journalists who sacrificed their lives to die for him warning him that if this is left unchecked, 2030 is not far from today, the DPP will need them not to win but to fall.
