Political activist Bon Kalindo, says Malawi is a country of shame where suspects who are being arrested by police are the poor people while the rich, money is buying for them justice in court.
Kalindo has observed that when rich people are arrested, it takes a day or two to be out of police custody and the matter ends there.Kalindo calls government to cushion Malawians amid fuel price increases
He said the court can issue a Warrant of Arrest to a suspect, this is reversed by the same court to order the police not to arrest the suspect.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said at the court, there are no chairs and microphones claiming that Malawians are still living in the past.
Kalindo said police officers come to the court with suspects at 07:00 hours but the place they are packed is very pathetic with a bad smell inside and on a sad note, the Magistrate come at 13: 00.hours ready to start hearing cases.
He has appealed to Minister of Justice Charles Mhango, to take his time off visiting prisons and police cells to appreciate.the suffering poor people are facing for a change.Kalindo Warns Against Anti-Albinism Protests, Calls for National Unity
On Chilima’s tragic death, Kalindo has observed that the Commission of inquiry is lacking blessings and trust from Malawians that politicians cannot investigate one another.
Kalindo has questioned government why it has used politicians to investigate the death of Dr. Chilima and eight others, and if the results on circumstances surrounding the death of Dr. Chilima are out, will the MCP. going to accept the results?
He has faulted the ongoing inquiry on how it has started its investigations without the Black Box which is a subject matter of all the investigations asking the Committee, where is the Black Box?
” If we were serious in the investigations, the one who ordered for clearance on the site where the plane crash took place and dismantling of the wreckage cutting it into pieces for easy transportation to Zomba, could have been arrested by this day,” said Kalindo.

The Activist has finally thanked Immigration officers who are complying with “Operation Bwenza ndalama zanga” saying the initiative is bearing fruits, people are receiving their money they bribed the officers plus mobile service charges.
