After launching its Agent Asanje Promotion, Airtel Malawi Limited has dished out prizes in its first draw of the promotion.

The draw which took place at its head office in Lilongwe, saw 40 agents going away with K20,000 weekly prizes each.

The promotion which started on 17 December will run up to 6 February 2023 with four winners going away with K1 million each as a grand prize.

Airtel Malawi Marketing Manager, Virginia Jere, said the promotion aims to empower the agent so that their capital is sustained in 2023 and beyond.

“On the issue of swim swap and duping of our customers we assure you our esteemed customers that Airtel Malawi Limited has put in place mechanisms and strategies aimed at dealing with the malpractice and no one will change the card anyhow,” Jere said.

Jere also described the year ending 2022 as a success as they have also introduced a scan and pay electronic payment method which has eased the challenges customers were facing when making payments for various products.
