Authority Admits AIP Fertilizer Nightmare Because Of Tonse Alliance Organised K30 Billion Scandal

Maweru admits that this year’s fertilizer purchase has been a nightmare, because of forex challenges.

He has however failed to say whether his firing, that of the Minister and the deputy are sacrifices saying they were the leaders and has to be fired.

He believes the former CEO of SFFRFM Andy Kalinde wanted to sabotage the government by trying to contact the Ministry to have the deal handled by another supplier due to lack of forex.

However, Maweru says he declined, because the individual and the company Kalinde referred them to had no financial muscle to handle the deal.
