British Rescue Team Arrives In The Country

The British Government has sent a 27-member search team to Malawi to assist in the rescue efforts of those trapped in the aftermath of Cyclone Freddy.

British Acting High Commissioner to Malawi, Sophia Wilits King, said apart from the search team the UK Government has channelled a lot of material assistance including food items to support the Government of Malawi reach out to those in need.

Receiving the donation, Minister of Health, Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda thanked the UK government for its support.
