Bushiri’s Lawyer Kita Ask Court To Dismiss Bushiri Extradition Case

The defence in the ongoing Shephered Bushiri extradition case has asked the court to completely dismiss the case as the state has said it will parade one witness in the case instead of six as it was indicated earlier on.

Meanwhile the case has been adjourned to 10 July for court’s ruling on the yet to be written submissions on case dismissal application.

In their arguements, the defence say they thought of praying for a dismissal knowing that it will be illegal to only parade one witness as it was supposed to be.

Wapona Kita, one of the defence lawyers says they have made the application of entire dismissal of the case considering the fact that they feel being ambushed.

According to Kita bringing Sibongile Mnzinyathi Director of Public Prosecution of Gauteng South Africa to be the lone witness is all confusing knowing the extradition processes.

Meanwhile Dzikondianthu Malunda one of the state lawyers says the call by defence is only a delaying tactic.
