Chakwera Given Seven Days To Resign

Human Rights Ambassadors have given President Lazarus Chakwera seven days to step down.

Co-Chairperson of the group Kingsley Mpaso said this after holding peaceful demonstrations in Mangochi, claiming that the president has failed Malawians.

According to Mpaso, if the president will not resign they will not stop mobilising Malawians to mass protests.

Principal Administrative Officer for Mangochi district council, Bissaih Mtayamanja, who has received their petition has thanked the protesters for maintaining order.
