Chizuma Regrets Interdiction, Shares Warrants Of Arrest On Social Media Before Action

As if not to die without crying, the ACB Director who has been allegedly interdicted yesterday has flashed out warrants of arrest for the former Director of Public Prosecutions, Dr. Steven Kayuni, and Senior State Prosecutor, Dzikondianthu Malunga on social media.

According to the purported warrants of arrest obtained on 31st January 2023 by the ACB and have been deposited into social media, the ACB is accusing Dr. Kayuni and Advocate Malunda of abusing the office to their advantage.

While others have argued that the depositing of these warrants into the social media before serving their purpose confirms the carelessness of the ACB Director in handling crucial information, others have argued that the move signifies her feeling of being powerless following the interdiction thereby “searching her usually-relied public sentiments for her”.

The phrase the long arm of the law surely catches and the basic law principles that no one is above the law is ringing true in the Chizuma imbroglio as the law is surely refusing to her go despite having goodwill from the President as well the diplomatic community. Perhaps it is also true that lady justice is blind. Things are increasingly getting out of hand for Madam Chizuma as she will be heading to court to take a plea tomorrow.
