FDH To Plant One Million Trees

FDH Bank says it plans to plant 1 million trees by 2024 in a quest to make Malawi greener again.

Speaking at a tree planting day organised by Bwemba Primary School in Lilongwe, FDH Channel Manager, Henry Mpasa, said it is important for all people to make a formidable wagon towards the preservation of the environment.

In his remarks, the President of Association of Environmental Journalists in Malawi (AEJ), Mathews Malata, hailed FDH Bank for committing resources to the restoration of the environment.

On her part, the Chairperson of Bwemba School Management Committee, Hannah Soko, encouraged the school authorities to ensure that the planted trees survive.
