Former President of Malawi, Dr. Joyce Banda, has officially registered to vote in the upcoming elections. At precisely 3:19 PM, Dr. Banda arrived at the Malemia Full Primary School, a designated registration center, to complete her voter registration process.
Dr. Banda was accompanied by her husband, Richard Banda, a former Chief Justice of Malawi, as she registered. Richard Banda, known for his extensive legal career, also participated in the registration process.
Also present during the registration was Edith Kachale Banda, who is vying for the parliamentary seat in Zomba Malosa. She, too, completed her registration, marking an important step in her political journey as she prepares for the upcoming elections.
This marks a significant moment in the lead-up to the elections, with Dr. Joyce Banda, a key political figure in Malawi, actively participating in the electoral process alongside her husband and other political candidates.
