Social media contributor Hope Mezuwa, has claimed that United Transformation Movement (UTM) presentation of papers to Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) in Lilongwe, was a tribute to the departed Dr. Saulosi Klaus Chilima.

Mezuwa said UTM was a party that was completely finished with the demise of Dr. Saulosi Chilima observing that the coming in of Dr. Dalitso Kabambe did not help matters because the narrative changed to become he was sent to take UTM to the DPP.

He said there was untold confusion, and unprecedented chaos immediately Dr. Chilima was lost, none had anticipated his early and sudden departure saying none of the prophets predicted the 10th June, 2024 events.

Writing on his face book page, Mezuwa said when they went to the Convention, it was democracy at work, factions did emerge only to serve the entire party saluting the old guards as the standing founders saying knowing Malawi politics, they all expected mass exodus of party officials that lost at the Convention.

Mezuwa said he has been told by many that Mr. Newton Kambala is one key financier of the party considering him humble, selfless and party-loving observing that when he got wind of news that Kambala was driving a tractor right behind Dr. Kabambe, his immediate thoughts were that he would be the running mate.

He said he admired the energy, organization, and formidable force the party has demonstrated in the absence of who was seen to be the only face of their party claiming that Dr. Chilima left behind political children, they are not fake friends.

“I am not sure what position UTM will get in the election results but given the circumstances, they have done the best they could,” reads Mezuwa’s writings on the wall.

He said if this is not their time for Dr. Dalitso Kabambe and Dr. Mathews Mtumbuka, this is speaking to itself and the entire 22 million plus Malawians that they have laid a very good foundation for their future.

Political activist Bon Kalindo has described UTM presentation of papers as perfect, a good pair which made the day colorful that they were prepared for the function claiming that Dr. Saulosi Chilima’s spirit is happy in the grave, UTM pair has not put to shame Dr. Chilima’s spirit.

But, on a sad note, Kalindo has claimed that he has a prophecy happening in another country not Malawi where there’s elections also saying there is a plot to assassinate an opposition party leader who is loved by millions of voters and is ready to win the elections in that country.

Kalindo said in the dream, he has seen that country not Malawi hosting 11 assassins accommodating them in a hotel for the evil agenda saying if this was Malawi, he would have urged all opposition parties to beef up security of their leaders.

“I have dreamed of a plot to bar someone, a presidential candidate on the basis of incapacitation but this was not Malawi, God has not showed me which country and where exactly is this? Kalindo speaking through an audio clip.
