Mponela Catholic choir to launch 4th DVD

The Mponela Catholic Choir 1 of the Lilongwe Archdiocese says they are set to launch their long awaited fourth DVD on July 31, 2022.

The DVD titled ‘Zonsezi ndindani’ has songs like Mtendere, ndikamva njala, timuthokoze, iwe mkhristu ochimwa among others which have already started enjoying air play.

According to the Choir Chairperson, Anastanzia Banda, Zonsezi ndindani, is the fourth DVD to be launched after Nanzikambe, Mlomo and Ndikadakhala ndi mapiko.

Banda said preparations are at an advanced stage to have the DVD launched on Sunday afternoon at Linde Motel in the district.

She said they decided to launch the DVD to continue preaching the gospel through music.

She said: “We believe that to coordinate well with fellow Christians it is through songs. We also believe that in songs we can reach out to other people to turn to God hence the launch,” she said.

Banda, asked fellow christians and other well wishers to come and patronize the launch to make it a success.

The choir has invited St Mary’s- Che Musa from the Archdiocese of Blantyre as guest choir and other supporting choirs like St Joseph from Kasungu, Banja Loyera from Lilongwe among others.

The DVD will be selling at K2000 each.
