Human rights and governance commentator Undule Mwakasungula has told Leader of Opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa to focus on uniting the DPP before giving ultimatums and threats to President Lazarus Chakwera.
Mwakasungula argues the opposition DDP cannot and will not be an alternative to the current problems the country is facing now.
He says the DPP is currently struggling with leadership fights, bickering and divisions within and that Nankhumwa must act and speak as Leader ofopposition and not as some leaders of Civil Society groupings who have been calling for ultimatums day and night with no direction.
Mwakasungula says Nakhumwa should instead engage the government and collectively find solutions.
During the DPP rally on Sunday, Nankhumwa gave Chakwera a 14 day ultimatum to correct the current economic challenges the country is facing.
