Parliament Intervenes On Alleged Dubious Sale Of Filling Station

By Suleman Chitera Aug4,2022

Members of Parliament on Wednesday agreed to tackle the issue of a filling station that was allegedly sold dubiously in Kanengo, Lilongwe.

Member of Parliament for Mulanje Bale Victor Musowa said Thursday being a private members’ day, the legislators needed to get to the bottom of the sale of what he described as impunity of the highest order.

Since Monday social media has been awash with reports that businessman Geleson Mkweza who owns the filling station in question at Kanengo lost the property in dubious circumstances following a court judgement which has since been challenged by Mkweza.
