Almost 40 high level meetings geared towards mobilising over a billion dollars in resources have been lined up in the President’s schedule of activities in New York.

Being held under the theme ‘’A watershed moment; transformative solutions to interlocking challenges,” certainly soaring global energy prices, food inflation, the general rise in cost of living, the war in Ukraine and other global challenges are issues to feature highly on the agenda of the assembly amidst global efforts to consolidate the gains made in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

It is expected that President Chakwera will address the assembly on 22 September 2022.
