
DPP President Meets Muslim Leaders

Today, His Excellency Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) leader and Malawi’s prospective President for 2025, met with Muslim leaders. During the meeting, Mutharika assured them that, under his leadership, he will restore the country’s freedoms, revive the economy, and address the challenges brought about by the Tonse Alliance, led by the Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

Also in attendance were DPP Vice President for the Eastern Region, Hon. Bright Msaka, SC, and the DPP Governor for the Eastern Region, Hon. Daud Chikwanje.
