Former Finance Minister Goodall Gondwe is appealing to the citizenry to actively take part in processes of reviving the country’s economy.
Gondwe, who served during the Democratic Progressive Party-DPP, also appeals for a hard working spirit amidst the current tough times.
His sentiments come amid anti-government protests organised by civil rights groups, to force President Lazarus Chakwera to resign.

They accuse Chakwera of failing to address the rising cost of living as well as rampant corruption and fraud in his administration.
Gondwe argued that as much as the citizenry want solutions from the government, they also need to utilise productive sectors.
