Businessman, Leston Mulli has called for the need for local companies to capitalise on international markets to export more out of Malawi.
He made the call as one of the delegates at the incoming Afreximbank Trade Fair due to take place in November in Cairo Egypt.
Mulli says the fair will open up a new market for Malawian products to be appreciated on international scene.
This according to Mulli has a long term effect on boosting exports that will play a significant role in bringing forex into the country.
The Intra Africa Trade Fair has been organised by African Export Import Bank in collaboration with Africa Union Commission (AUC) and African Continental Free Trade Area (ACFTA).
The exhibition aims at providing a platform for facilitating trade and investment information exchange in support of intra African trade.
