In the opening two matches of the new La Liga season, Hansi Flick has managed to bring fresh energy to Barcelona.
Despite facing a number of challenges, including injuries and registration problems, the team has come out on top in both of their games and this impressive start has fans excited about the possibilities for the season ahead.
With just a few days remaining in the transfer window, there is a strong possibility that Barcelona could sign a new left winger wherein Federico Chiesa has been widely tipped as the favourite to fill this role.
However, there seems to be a difference in opinion among Barcelona fans regarding this potential signing. A recent poll revealed that many fans would rather see Dani Olmo playing on the left wing instead of Chiesa.
The poll conducted by Barça Universal also revealed some unexpected preferences in the fans’ ideal lineup.

Moving into the midfield, the fans opted for a double pivot of Pedri and Marc Bernal. Pedri’s creativity and Bernal’s growing reputation as a reliable presence make them an intriguing pair.
“Bernal is getting good results, also during the preseason. He has qualities that we need and he is doing very well,” said Flick about Bernal after the Athletic Club win which goes on to show even Flick trusts the youngster’s abilities.
On the wings, the fans preferred a trio of Lamine Yamal on the left, Raphinha in the centre, and Dani Olmo on the right. This combination is seen as a way to maximise pace and skill, providing a versatile attacking threat.
Leading the attack is the experienced Robert Lewandowski, who continues to be a vital player for Barcelona. His goal-scoring ability and leadership on the pitch are key reasons why fans are excited about the attacking prospects for this season.
