UTM MP Chrissy Kanyasho pushes for release of report on Chilima’s plane crash
United Transformation Movement(UTM) leader in Parliament Chrissy Kanyasho has asked President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to the confusion that has surrounded the report on the plane crash that claimed the life of former Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima and eight others.
Kanyasho made the call during a media briefing organized by leader of opposition in parliament Dr. George Chaponda aimed at pleading with the government to explore other strategies to ensure continued availability of fuel at the current prices in the country.
She said the MPs want government to release the report of the accident as soon as possible.

Recently President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera admitted during an exclusive interview DW media of Germany of receiving a final report on the plane crash.
But in an interview Chakwera remain coy as to when the report will be released to Malawians.
Meanwhile, Minister of Information Moses Kunkuyu told Malawians that the report will be released on August 31 by the German expert who were conducting the investigations.
