Activist Pastor Moses Shumba –the Lion of Judah, has appealed to patriotic Malawians not to listen to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s asking for forgiveness from Malawians after realizing that he and his Ministers have destroyed the country.
Pastor Shumba said Malawians will not stop speaking against him because he has taken 5 years paid a deaf ear to the voices of reasons from 2022 taking Malawians for granted and calling for his forgiveness with elections between mouth and nose, is time out.
He has urged Malawians to be prepared that on the 16th September, 2025 they should vote for a new government replacing the MCP, the party which has brought in untold pain and sufferings in the country.
Speaking through an audio clip, Pastor Shumba said President Chakwera and his ministers have destroyed the country three times more than what the DPP and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika left when he was ousted from power on 23rd June, 2020.
Pastor Shumba said the MCP government has borrowed more than any other previous government has done claiming that the country’s debts moved from k3.16 trillion left by the DPP to K16.1 trillion saying this will chain all future generations.
He said President Chakwera detached himself from his citizens as he has been silent and speaking nothing on matters of national interest describing his silence as speaking for itself that Malawi has a dead leadership.
“Chakwera’s leadership is dead, Kwacha devaluations, skyrocketing prices of essential goods, issues of fuel and forex, no medicines in hospitals, Chakwera does not speak to Malawians for a message of hope,” said Pastor Shumba.
He said President Donald Tramp of USA has just announced that he has stopped providing aid to African countries and one country in Africa, South Africa welcomed the news for African governments and leaders to start their own businesses within their continent.
Pastor Shumba said the South African government has announced this decision because their leaders listen to the people and value their people first unlike Malawi whose leaders are busy global trotting obtaining loans for their countries which are ending up in crooked pockets.
He recalled that former President the late Professor Bingu wa Mutharika implemented zero deficit budget at the time that the USA, Britain and their allies stopped giving aid to Malawi claiming that Malawi was a food sufficient nation and was seen exporting maize to Zimbabwe.
