Our nation, blessed with fertile lands, hardworking citizens, and untapped potential, continues to struggle under the burden of outdated systems, foreign control, and recycled leadership.
For decades, we have farmed tirelessly—especially tobacco, our so-called “green gold”—yet the rewards of our sweat and toil are stolen from us by decisions made far away in boardrooms we’ll never enter.
It is time to say enough is enough.
The National Revolution Party (NRP), a party now in its final stages of establishment, rises with one mission: to return power to the people—especially the farmers, the youth, the workers, and the dreamers of Malawi.
NRP is not just another political party; it is a movement, a revolution in ideology, and a rebirth of national pride and purpose.
Ending Exploitation in Farming
For too long, Malawi’s tobacco industry has been controlled by foreign interests.
We grow the crop. We invest the labor. We take the risks. Yet, we are not the ones deciding its value. Instead, foreign companies fly in, speak in languages not even used in their home countries, and dictate prices that insult our farmers and rob our economy. This is modern-day slavery wrapped in polite suits and colonial attitudes.
NRP is here to put an end to this.
Under our leadership, Malawi will reclaim control of its agricultural markets. No longer will farmers be dictated to by outsiders. No longer will pricing be a foreign affair. We will empower our farmers to set prices, add value, and export with dignity.
We will speak our own language, make our own policies, and defend the sweat of our people with pride.

The National Revolution Party stands for more than just farming reforms. We are a party of fresh ideas, youthful energy, and national transformation.
We believe that real change comes not from recycled promises but from bold action and new leadership. Our party will:
Revolutionize agriculture by supporting farmers with access to local and international markets, and promoting crop diversification beyond tobacco.
Empower the youth through job creation, entrepreneurship, and access to land and financing.
Break dependency on foreign donors by building a self-reliant economy driven by Malawian innovation.
Uplift rural communities with infrastructure, healthcare, and education policies that reflect the people’s needs.
Reclaim national pride by putting Malawi first in all we do, from trade deals to development priorities.
The Era of Real Independence Has Begun
Independence is not just about flags and anthems—it’s about ownership of our destiny.
NRP believes that Malawi must break free from systems designed to keep us dependent, poor, and voiceless. The new crop of leadership must be made up of people who understand the pain of the common man, who have lived the struggle, and who are determined to build a Malawi where every citizen shares in the wealth of the nation.
We are calling on Malawians of all backgrounds—especially the youth—to join this revolution. Your voice, your vote, your dream—it all matters.
