A voice of the voiceless citizen of Malawi Comrade Alhaji Imraaan Jumbe, says the world stands at a crossroads, what people are witnessing in the Middle East, particularly in Gaza and the ongoing tensions with Iran, is not merely a regional conflict.
Jumbe says at the centre of the chaos stand two nations; Israel and USA who if unchecked power and foreign policies continue to threaten global peace saying, Gaza is bleeding not just from war but from repeated bombardments that have targeted civilians, reduced homes to rubble and transformed hospitals and schools into graveyards.
He says women and children, innocent and defenseless are being killed like flies, their lives erased in the name of “Security” and “defense” saying this is not defense, it is a massacre observing that the gaze has now turn to Iran, accusations of nuclear ambition.
Writing on his face book page, Comrade Jumbe says people are remembering how the world was deceived, Saddam Hussein was executed, Iraq was torn apart and years later, the world learned the truth that there were no weapons of Mass destruction in Iraq.
Jumbe has claimed that no justice was served for the millions who suffered and died, there is only silence questioning if Iran begins to retaliate, will there still be peace in the Middle East lamenting that America and Israel are appointed global judges operating above international law.
He says if the international community continues to ignore the cries of the oppressed and the blatant abuses of power, people may be walking into a new world war-one that could engulf not just the Middle East but the entire globe.
“America and Israel possess unmatched military but they are not immune from the consequences of their action,” reads Comrade Jumbe’s writings on the wall.
Comrade Jumbe says History has shown that Empires fall, Kings and Generals come and go, but justice –true justice remains eternal saying there is a higher court one that cannot be lobbied, bought, or silenced, the Court of God.
He says the cries of the oppressed reach the heavens, the world needs peace, the people of the Middle East need justice, and if the global powers fail to listen now, the echoes of their silence will be heard in the ruins of tomorrow cautioning America and Israel destabilizing the Middle East with risks of a global catastrophe.
