Renowned gospel musician Viera Kaduma has made a bold return to the music scene with the release of her new single, Moyo Osatha, accompanied by a powerful music video.
Speaking to Times 360 Malawi, Viera opened up about her long break from music, revealing that her passion almost faded for good. In 2014, after recording an album that never saw the light of day due to personal reasons, she slowly drifted away from the industry. For over a decade, she kept silent — until now.
“It was as if my motivation for music just died. I thought I would never come back,” Viera confessed. “But Moyo Osatha has reignited that passion within me.”
Premiered on Times TV this Monday, the single is a heartfelt encouragement for people to place their trust in Jesus Christ — described in the song as the way, the truth, and the life. Produced by Jue Kapengule, Moyo Osatha delivers a message of hope, emphasizing that Jesus remains the ultimate solution to life’s challenges.
Viera hinted at more projects on the horizon, including a full album. She said her mission now is not just to sing but to minister, preach, and inspire through her music.
“I believe I have a calling to spread a positive message and touch lives. This is more than a comeback — it’s a new beginning,” she said.
With Moyo Osatha already receiving warm reception, Viera Kaduma is back, determined to make her mark in gospel music once again.
