Kalindo thanks government for accepting fuel crisis in Malawi

Political activist Bon Kalindo, has thanked the DPP led government for coming out in the open accepting that apart from US, Israel, Iran war, the country has no forex to import fuel to Malawi.

Kalindo said the acceptance by the DPP government should not be taken as a political failure but telling its people nothing but the truth that things are not good in the country, Malawians are suffering.

He said education has killed this country claiming that people with degrees – Doctors and Professors take themselves as on top of the affairs saying this is why Malawi is not progressing forward.

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has claimed that educated people have used their education to destroy the country observing that in this country, there are the less educated people but have intelligence to drive the country in a better way than these so called educated leaders.

Kalindo has thanked government that it is not sitting down but doing everything possible of what it can to correct these blackouts which have come as the order of the day, saying this is the government people want to be saying the truth and not lies that the country need us all, educated people have failed to use their education to run this country.

He said this could be the best time for government to think outside the box that is this the professionals that they are firing or sabotage, observing that government is a system and what changes is the political party in government.

He has warned government that if this fuel issue is left unchecked, the same will de-campaign the DPP in its quest to bounce back into government in 2030.

The Activist has advised government to sit down and swallow the pride by revisiting G2G fuel deals claiming that not all policies formulated by the MCP government were bad, they should pick out those that are good for the country to move forward.

” The DPP government could have won the elections without promising the people anything, free secondary school education, K5 billion Constituency Development Fund (CDF), these must be rechecked with a critical eye,” said Kalindo.

And in a related news development, Engineer Dr. Vitumbiko Mumba says ambulances in Mzimba Central have run dry of fuel saying he need to save lives appealing to well – wishers that if there’s anyone with a clue as to where fuel is in Mzimba, he should let him know.

Writing on his Facebook page, Mumba said since the introduction of ambulances in the constituencies, they have reduced neonatal deaths to almost zero, and access to medical care has greatly improved with each ambulance making two to three trips per day to Mzuzu and Mzimba.

” Initially, many people were left to fend for themselves while they waited for ambulances dispatched from Mzimba District Hospital, this could take days, now it’s only a matter of an hour,” reads his writings on the wall.
