Afrexim Bank Pledges To Support Malawi Towards Cyclone Freddy Aftermath

Afrexim Bank President Benedict Oramah has pledged to support Malawi with 500,000 US dollars (about K518 million) towards efforts to mitigate Tropical Cyclone Freddy aftermath.

A statement from the State House’s Communication Department indicates that President Lazarus Chakwera had a virtual meeting with Oramah.

The donation will be channelled to the Department of Disaster Management Affairs (Dodma).

Chakwera has since expressed gratitude for the donation from Afrexim Bank.
