UTM Secretary General, Patricia Kaliati has trashed allegations circulating on social media that Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima is sponsoring a series of demonstrations happening in the country.

“UTM is in government and the relationship between the State President and his Vice is tight. Those behind such stories are there to tarnish the image of Chilima who is also UTM President,” said Kaliati.

In his remarks, the Ntcheu West Parliamentarian, Salambula said the trophy would help youths in his area to refrain from immoral behaviours.

Meanwhile, renowned, local hip-hop artist Fredokiss who also graced the event announced the launch of his initiative that will see ten needy students in the district benefiting.
