The Vice President for the Central Region in the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), Alfred Gangata, has arrived at Chilimampunga grounds, where the party is holding a critical meeting aimed at consolidating its strategies and addressing pressing issues ahead of the 2025 general elections. Gangata, accompanied by key party officials, received a warm reception from party supporters who gathered in large numbers to witness the event.

Prominent figures within the DPP, including the party’s youth leader Norman Chisale, Mary Navicha, and Chimwemwe Chipungu, are among the high-ranking officials escorting Gangata. Their presence underscores the importance of the meeting, which is expected to bring together members from across the Central Region to deliberate on the party’s roadmap as it seeks to reclaim power.

Addressing the gathering, Gangata highlighted the significance of unity within the party, urging members to put aside their differences and focus on strengthening the DPP’s structures.
