DPP prays for Malawians as Cyclone Halima looms

The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has said it is praying for Malawians as Cyclone Halima is about to hit the country as announced by the Department of Climate and Meteorological Services.

In a statement posted on DPP official facebook page seen by this publication, the party says is with Malawians.

“DPP sends its thoughts and prayers to all Malawi citizens as they prepare for the impact of Cyclone Halima which has been recently announced by the Department of Climate and Meteorological Services.

“According to the meteorological department, the cyclone is expected to hit different parts of the country. We stand with you and wish the best for your safety and well-being,” reads in part the statement.“`
