Paramount Chief Inkosi Gomani has challenged President Chakwera to lead the country out of the current economic hardships.
Speaking during a development rally in Ntcheu district Gomani made the call in reference to the much talked about impact of the Ukranian war.
There cost of living has skyrocketed, with ever rising prices of cooking oil and the most recent fuel price hike.
While acknowledging that some of the challenges are shares with other countries as well, the Ngoni Chief has stressed on the need for Chakwera to now focus on how to address the challenge on a local level.
He has since underscored the need for the leadership to lead in strategizing on solutions to better the lives of the citizenry.
