Man Nabbed For Being Found With 600 Bags Of Fertilisers

Police in Phalombe have arrested a 45-year-old man after he was found with 600 bags of Urea fertilizer without supporting documents.

According to the spokesperson for South East Police Region, Edward Kabango, the suspect, Geva Chikola was arrested at Chiringa Trading Center whilst offloading bags of fertilizer at his warehouse.

“Police officers rushed to the scene and the suspect failed to produce supporting documents. The bags have been seized as investigations are still underway,” said Kabango.
