Multichoice Donates Tv Sports Broadcasting Equipments To MBC

MultiChoice through SuperSport has donated television sports production equipment to Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).

MBC Director General, George Kasakula, received the equipment on behalf of the corporation at Chichiri Broadcasting House in Blantyre.

In his remarks, Kasakula lauded the cordial relationship between the two companies and thanked MultiChoice for the timely donation.

Kasakula further said the equipment will go a long way in helping MBC to expand its sports coverage and meet the requirements of its audience.

On her part, Corporate Affairs Manager for Multichoice Malawi, Zena Makunje, said her company recognises the importance of working together with local content creators as a way of improving the local creative industry hence the donation.

On several occasions, Multichoice has engaged MBC through creative masterclasses offered to MBC staffers.

Part of the donated equipment includes 10 box lenses,13 video monitors, and 9 cameras.
