It has transpired that the city of Mzuzu has run out of diesel.
A visit to four filling stations in the city’s central business district has established that the product is not in stock.
While other traders are optimistic to have the product in stock by close of business today, others say the situation might go through to the weekend as NOCMA is yet to provide the fuel.
Meanwhile, a fuel attendant at one of the filling stations has attributed the situation to NOCMA’s failure to provide them enough of the product saying they are only provided ten thousand liters per day which he said is very little.
