Rev Nakari Mwanamveka Celebrates Birthday Clocks 90

The father of former finance minister honourable Joseph Matyola Mwanamveka, Rev Nakari Mwanamveka on Monday celebrated his birthday as he clocks 90, Rev. Nakari Mwanamvekha was born on 5th April, 1933,
Birthday celebration was held on Monday 14th May 2023 at Namathiya village, G/V Masuku , T/A Mpunga, Chiradzulu district.

Speaking at the birthday celebrations John Mbilidzi Mwanamvekha the spokesperson representing the family and Hon Maluwa master of ceremony(MC) for birthday celebrations both praised God for keeping Rev Nakari Mwanamveka for 90 years and also hailed him for giving good advices, support and direction to the whole family.

The clergy was represented by Bishop Simoko of Church of Christ and leaders of other churches were present at the celebration

In his remarks, Granny Rev Joseph Nakari Mwanamvekha encouraged the whole family to remain united. In another special message and advice to his first son Joseph Matyola Mwanamveka who is the former cabinet minister and current member of Parliament for Chiradzuru south to remain courageous in his leadership journey.
“Success only comes to those who don’t quit regardless of the circumstances”, Said Mwanamvekha Senior.

Former cabinet minister, ST, CEO of CDH Investment Bank and Malawi Savings Banks, Central Banker, Chairperson of Mulhako wa Alomwe during the entire patronship of Prof Bingu wa Mutharika

Gracing the function some of the notable figures and political dignitaries present at the celebration were DPP Spokesperson Hon Shadreck Namalomba, Mr James Chuma, Nec Member., Former Blantyre City Mayor Mr Makwinja, Former MP from Chikwawa Hon. Maluwa, Hon. Malowa,
District governor for Chiradzuru south Mr Mwapeya Kaliwo and members of the district, the constituency governor Mr Zimbota and members and their families were all present
