Makalipeni primary school (Macalpine) in traditional Authority (T/A) Malengamzoma in nkhatabay is on risky closure over witch craft allegations.
Nkhatabay chief education manager, Clement Nyirenda Said seven out of 10 teachers at the school have applied transfer allegedly experiencing strange things believed to be associated with whitchcraft.
He said according to the transfer letter on my desk, the teachers complain that their found blood in their bathrooms, died animals in outside the house and a dog laying eggs.
Nyirenda Said, as a ministry they not recognize witchcraft. But consideration from the teachers. That is why we asked them to meet community reader and discuss the matter. He Said.
Nyirenda said the situation may affect primary school leaving certificate of examination ( PSLCE). Results.
