Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) supporters from the south have criticized and labeled the fired Regional Governor for the South, Charles Mchacha as crook, greedy and a rebel trying to sell and destroy the mighty Democratic progressive party for money, Dpp supporters described the group of people forming parallel structures within DPP are described as crooks, greedy people, rebels and enemies of the blue camp who are in a pay roll to devide and frustrate the supporters to pave way for the current government to win next tripartite elections,
Mchachas press briefing on Sunday at Golden Peacock Hotel in Blantyre which was fully funded by government to destroy the mighty DPP, Mchachas was fired as regional government for the south and reinstated on his position by the court,
“You may wonder as why these people like Mchachas and his team are forcing Mutharika not to stand next tripartite elections as masses indorses Arthur Peter Mutharika as DPP torch bearer in 2025
The Thyolo West Parliamentarian emphasized that Mutharika should not stand as many people are asking him to do so,
However, Mutharika has not come openly to tell that he is going to contest but the supporters in the party are going to support him.
Recently, some members of parliament of the party led by Nicholas Dausi of Mwanza Central constituency held a press conference saying the party needs to hold the convention in July or else all the positions will fall vacant.
