President Dr Lazarus Chakwera says the 6th Transform Africa Summit has created linkages among African countries that are crucial for the social development of its people.
The Malawi leader was speaking at Kamuzu International Airport on arrival from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe where he attended the summit.
Dr Chakwera said the summit will help the continent to enhance trade and other activities that require new technologies.
Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, Dr Saulos Chilima, Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Collen Zamba, First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Madalitso Kazombo, Regional Chairperson of the Malawi Congress Party (Center), Patrick Zebron Chilondola, Cabinet Ministers and other government officials welcomed the President at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
