Prominent lawyer and social commentator Alexius Kamangila, also known as MAJAM, recently took to his Facebook page to announce the postponement of a much-anticipated meeting he had scheduled with key stakeholders. In his post, Kamangila explained that the Judicial Officer who was supposed to chair the meeting had become engaged in other commitments, leading to the need for rescheduling.
“I was invited to the meeting, as many of you are aware,” Kamangila wrote. “However, the Judicial Officer, who was to chair the session, had other engagements. While I had many questions lined up for this discussion, I appreciate the leadership’s communication. They informed me civilly, and I thanked them for that.”
Kamangila went on to note that the meeting will be postponed to a future date, which will be communicated later. Despite the postponement, his positive attitude toward the situation and appreciation for transparent communication stands out as a key takeaway.
This delay, while unfortunate, offers more time to reflect on the issues that were to be discussed. Many participants, like Kamangila, may have important questions and concerns to address once the new date is announced. As we await further details from MAJAM, it is clear that the engagement will remain on the agenda, promising a productive dialogue in the future.
