Rights activist Pastor Moses Shumba-the Lion of Judah, has thanked Malawians who contributed their K1’s to enable him visit and pay last respect to a place where the departed Vice President Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, were tragically killed in the Chikangawa forest in Mzimba district on Monday 10th June, 2024.
Pastor Shumba said it was his prayer to go and visit the place in the Chikangawa forest saying his visit has helped him to gather other information, it was heartbreaking to see the place and what was claimed to be there not a place to show that 9 souls perished at one goal.
He said if it was God’s accident, one or two if not all, would have survived a plane crash saying he had an opportunity to enquire about the watchman at a TNM tower, a primary school head teacher and another woman, who gave testimonies about the plane crash but are nowhere to be seen.
Speaking through an audio clip at the scene of the plane crash, Pastor Shumba said the tragic death of Dr. Chilima and eight others, will not be forgotten by many Malawians and some are not believing to this day that Dr. Chilima is smelling dust in the grave.
Pastor Shumba said no matter how long it will take, justice on the death of Dr. Chilima and eight others, will prevail saying the living God is not sleeping, he will reveal everything to his people in light shall conquer darkness.
He said while he was in Chikangawa forest, he met a man who only identified himself as Dyson, working as a saw miller in the forest, he saw everything saying this is giving hope that God the Almighty will go through this man to reveal what exactly happened on that fateful day.
“Let us put all of our trust in God, Dr. Chilima and eight others, died a painful death, those that have seen pictures and hearing the sad death, can shed tears down their cheeks, “said Pastor Shumba.
He has sent his heartfelt condolences to Archbishop Thomas Msusa of the Archdiocese of Blantyre and the entire Roman Catholic Church in Malawi for about 20 armed men suspected to have allegedly been sponsored by the MCP attacked the Saint Maria Goretti for the sisters of Blessed Virgin Mary located near Limbe Cathedral, the attack has left one security guard seriously injured.
Pastor Shumba said he has joined the Catholic church in praying for the wounded watchman that God’s hand touch him and receive his blessings saying this could not be the time for attacking men and women of God but time to sit down as country to ask God to give the country good rainfall
