A Malawi Congress Party (MCP) diehard of Mvera in Dowa district Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, has advised Minister of Education responsible for Higher Education Dr. Jessie Kabwila that she should stop defending the MCP for nonsense.
Kamphangala said Kabwila must know that before her being appointed as the party’s Publicity Secretary, there were others, Mr. Gospel Kazako and Mr. Ezekiel Ching’oma saying all these people have gone leaving behind a label of defending government.
He said being one of the highly educated woman the country has ever had, she was supposed to be siding with Malawians even taking government to account for all the development projects, it is implementing and not clapping hands for nonsense.
The MCP diehard said Malawians respect Dr. Jessie Kabwila for her strong stand of the 2011 Academic Freedom during the reign of Professor Bingu wa Mutharika claiming that she is one of those who made Bingu to run the country loved by millions of Malawians.
He said today, President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has become a laughing stock of the world that instead of advising him to correct where he is getting it wrong, she is busy defending him for him to continue destroying the country.
The MCP diehard said Kabwila has always been blaming the previous DPP led government of Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s thieving in government as a major contributor to the country’s economic challenges.
He said DPP is not in government why is she wasting her time blaming the DPP claiming that this blame has been there since 2020 and at the time she was appointed MCPs Publicity Secretary and Minister of Education, the blame has not changed its colors.
Kamphangala has advised Kabwila that Malawians of today are more enlighten people and they know what is happening in government that the challenges Malawians are going through during President Chakwera’s tenure of office, are above their heads.
“Many Malawians both in urban and rural villages are sleeping with empty stomachs including where you are coming from Salima North, people are hungry and angry, they are crying to the MCP to give them cheaper food not DPP,” he said.
He said he would have loved if Dr. Kabwila stop criticizing the DPP for thieving in government and in turn, he should focus on what she can to bail out the people of Salima North from hunger who have no hope for a better tomorrow.
Kamphangala has finally advised Kabwila to go to his Salima North constituency where she has declared to run for a parliamentary seat to ask the constituents their everyday challenges, they will tell her the truth that people in the villages have no problem with the MCP but its leadersh
