5 PEOPLE ESCAPE UNHURT IN CAR ACCIDENT AT KACHIPEYA

Five people including two children escaped unhurt when the car they were travelling in overturned at Kachipeya in Dedza along the M1 Road.

This reporter was among those who pulled out the family from the car, which overturned and veered off into the bush about 50 meters away from the main road.

The driver of the vehicle, MG 228 AN, said that the car’s steering wheel locked and he failed to control it.

The driver and other passengers in the car have been rushed to Dedza Hospital for a check up.

Four kilometres away from the scene of the accident, the MBC crew found another saloon vehicle which has also overturned raising questions about what is happening along the M1 Road.
